Mercyhurst Men's Lacrosse Preparing to Play for a Cause

As the busy and eventful week ends, we prepare as a team to face our first set of competitions this fall. As a team, we will participate in the Law For Life event on Sunday, October 22nd. We will be scrimmaging against Ohio Wesleyan University and Capital University. This event will cultivate an organ donation culture, allowing each lacrosse game to represent a sense of hope and renewal. We are super excited about the event and can't wait to bring awareness to organ donation!

Mercyhurst Men's Lacrosse Finish's Off Fall Ball

As the autumn leaves fell from the trees and raindrops slowly hit the ground, we embarked on our journey to Nazareth University for a scrimmage against a historical program out of Pittsford, New York. For us, it was more than just a game; it marked the end of fall ball, the culmination of months of hard work, and a chance for us to put all of the pieces together from this fall.  The trip to  Nazareth University was a refreshing change of pace from our usual routine this fall. Last season, we had a very successful season, making it to every collegiate athlete's dream...The National Championship. Unfortunately, after our appearance in the National Championship, our team was saddened by the news that our head and assistant coaches had taken new coaching opportunities.  As the fall came around, we were excited to hear that the school had hired  Trey Keeley  as our new head coach. Coach Keeley has a solid lacrosse background, allowing for the development of our program and individuals to be in good hands. My teammates and I were very excited about hiring Coach Keeley because it opened up many new opportunities for us on and off the field. The ...
